Creators of a bold new watch and lifestyle brand, unique like you and tested to experience and withstand the forces of nature together. All with an eye on a safer planet and cleaner waters. Originating from Denmark, we are and remain inspired by our roots, and the beauty and simplicity of Danish design. It’s in our very being of who we are. Striving to achieve what has been our ambition, in 2018 we set out to create and illuminate a stylishly designed dive watch that journeys forward, while staying true to the modern simplicity of a timeless classic. In 2021, this ambition has become a reality with the release of the first dive watch from NAUTAGE. We have a thirst for life, and we live to experience new adventures that await us. On land and under water. Dive in for adventure, because while eternity is forever, life is finite. After all, actions speak louder than words. It’s time to make life count.
History of Nautage
Founded in 2018
The idea started back in 2018 where we, the brothers Christian (architect & designer) & Allan (founder) decided to fulfil a personal dream of designing a modern interpretation of the classical dive watch. We wanted to create an expression, which were more simple and straight forward than today’s typical dive watch. We sought inspiration in the Danish design tradition and designed the watch with reference to nautical machinery and dive equipment. We knew it wasn’t going to be easy, and the process of prototyping and evaluating details and material compositions has taken us more than two years.
